Baking n Cooking

Hands became so itchy that inspired me to make this Snow skin mooncake though not in the season, but just to finish up what was left in the fridge clearing up more space for cny thingy storage.  Named - Mango Poppy Seeds Pingpi mooncake.

These are my Polenta cookies made from scratch which I supposed to do it with swirling pipping to form roses shapes but I have not learned its technique.  However, I  put the batter in the fridge as it was late into the night.  This morning I made into this flowery designs with the cutter and the tedious part was to fridge every batch of the cutting, cos too soft for cutting.

After much searching from internet, I got the tips how to swirling to rose shape using self-made pipping bag.  It was done with lots of trials and errors though.... so I really need to shop for good pipping noozles and pipping papers too for decorating my cupcakes as the tactic applied was of swirling cupcake. Need to practice my hand skill now and the force of applying each swirl.  And the desire to apply onto the cakes.
An experience of pipping rose pattern from scratch. This cookie is called Melting Moment decorated with M & M Chocolate buttom.

A plate of Rossie Melting Moment decorated with M & M chocolate buttoms.  This imported stuff is reall damn expensive.  I done this specially for my little cute grandson who is back home here, so I hope he will like it when he comes home.

My Lemon Chicken Jery (Bak Kwa) made from scratch with sesame topping.  The taste is delicious though, still I need lot of improvement.

This is my whole chicken that I cooked with kuynit  and galanga flowers.  It's yummy.....

Baked Herbal Chicken Wings

I have never used chicken wings to bake in this aluminum foil as a menu for dinner.  But somehow always using the chicken wings to roast or grill which inspired me to create on this special delicacy for a change.  I found it though not so appealing to my eyes as compared to those roasted or grilled but the aroma of the chicken wings and especially the herbs I used did discard away the stink smell of the poultry. And its natural juice from the chicken wings was so sweet and yummy........

Greetings

Feeling too exhausted after running household errands, attending several wedding dinners and helping friends had depleted of body energy to give here a touch.

Today, just the 2nd day of the brand New Year 2013, and cos not to late to wish all my peepers here a very Happy & Blessed New Year.  Since the Year 2012 had  forever been gone but nevertheless it made us strong.  The path that we walked through though long but we walked with an enhanted song. There were no doubt been tears and fears but we also had reason to cheer.  God doesn't require us to "Be the Best" but HE rather wants us to "DO Our  Best"  and HE will take care of the REST provided we trust and love Him with all our heart and soul.

Deuteronomy 6:5  And Thou Shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
