Cousin Ah Piew's marriage ceremony

The earliest recorded biblical marriage was first originally ordained by God Himself. The relationship between a man and a woman has been very unique. Eve was created for Adam from one of his ribs while God put him to sleep; to complete his need of companionship.

Today, many of the Chinese cultural rituals are not practical in this modern era. Most family who are not Christian probably will just do the “heaven and earth to witness the marriage” then paying respect to the deceased ancestors.

Last Monday, we drove to Limbang to witness our cousin, King Piew's wedding ceremony which was held in the groom’s house in the morning and the wedding reception in the evening held in the Limbang Civis Centre with the lavish of the glorious food ordered from three restaurants.

Ah Piew’s father who is my husband youngest uncle is a prominent businessman in Limbang, Chairman of the Foochow Association, Head of Limbang SUPP and Chair person for the fund raising for the Chinese School, both Primary and Secondary.

Ah Piew himself being a businessman generously draw another wedding reception held in Kota Kinabalu with the same amount of 70 tables with the garden style reception held in a 5 stars hotel in KK. May God bless the newly wedded couple forever.

Despite that we have not visited Limbang for the last past fifteen years; we easily could use the shorter route to Limbang with better road conditions than any other parts of Sarawak. Though a bit exhausted throughout the journey, we still managed to take a ride round Bandar Seri Bagawan while on the return journey home.

Here is the web link from Bintulu to Limbang road map for all my readers who want to go to Limbang or KK by road. http://www.scribd.com/doc/8308858/Map-From-Bintulu-to-Miri-to-Brunei-to-Limbang-to-Kota-Kinabalu or click to the above captioned link.
