A snap from inside the bus,a scenic overlooking the Shanghai's waterfront promenade stretching for 2km (1 mile) along the bank of the Huangpu River, was once the most famous street in Asia, and is still renowned for its strip of Art Deco buildings.







The picturesque Bund, Shanghai's waterfront promenade stretching for 2km (1 mile) along the bank of the Huangpu River,the wide riverfront promenade on the east bank of the river provides a captivating view of Shanghai, particularly at night. From the Bund visitors can take a river trip down the Huangpu to the mouth of the Yangtse. Boats leave regularly from the Shiliupu Pier south of the Bund and the trip takes about three hours.

It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Shanghai, The Oriental Pearl TV Tower at 468 metres high is one of the world’s highest TV and radio towers and the modern symbol of Shanghai City. Shanghai World Financial Center, the highest multi-purpose skyscraper in China, offers the full extent of Lujiazui and Puxi areas, attracting more and more visitors to appreciate the beautiful panorama of modern Shanghai.Jin Mao Tower, located in the center of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Districts in Pudong,is the fourth tallest building of the world and the second tallest building in China. The ingenious combination of the elements of traditional Chinese culture with the newest architectural styles of the time, make the tower one of the best-designed buildings in China.





Strolling along the wide riverside promenade in the evening or at night of the modern 上海滩 assembles the splendid tourist attractions of the city. Situated on the east bank of the Huangpu River, the Bund is the symbol of Shanghai. New finance and commercial houses as well as grand buildings built in 1930s in the European architectural styles cluster along the Bund.
